Dear Principal
I think that school should only be open 4 days a week, the children will be better behaved, have more things to write about and learn better.
It will mean that children will not be naughty at school because they will have a longer weekend to get out all of their extra energy.
Only having school 4 days a week will help children learn better. They will be able to concentrate more since it will be for a shorter amount of time.
Having a longer weekend will give them more things to write about in stories as they will have more time to experience other activities.
In conclusion I think that you should consider only having school 4 days a week.

ReplyDeleteJade F here from the Summer Learning Journey. Well done on completing another set of activities! I like how you included a rating out of 5 in your first activity. Could you tell why you gave each clip that rating specifically? Was there something that stood out to you in each clip?
Activity 2- It’s very interesting how much fashion and clothing has changed over the years hasn’t it? Back in the 1970’s was when the bell bottom pants came into fashion and everyone was long pants all time. I agree with your point on disliking how boys and girls didn’t wear shorts. They must’ve gotten so hot wearing those! What are you thoughts on the bell bottom pants? Activity 3- Your letter to the principal was really good. You made some very good points about having a shorter school weeks and I agree that students would focus more when there’s a shorter amount of time to do work. But don’t you think they wouldn’t have enough time to finish off tasks in class if they have less days at school or do you reckon they could take their work home and finish at it over their three day weekend? What do you think? Let me know in a comment!

I gave the first video a rating out of 3/5 because it looked like they were lip syncing.
ReplyDeleteI gave the second video a 4/5 because I really liked the video and the song too.
I gave the last video a 2/5 because I didn't like the video that much.
I think that the kids would be more motivated to complete their work because they know that they have a long weekend coming up.
