Activity 1

When I leave high school I would like to become a Police Officer.
I would need to be physically fit and I would have to have my drivers licence.  I could do these things while I am still at high school.
I would need to go to police training and learn different things.
I already do jui jitsu which is self defence training and if I keep this up I will be fit and able to look after myself.

Activity 2
I would choose the flying car.  This is because I when I am a police officer I can use this car to catch people.  I could use it to make sure I get to places on time and not get stuck in a traffic jam. I could park on the roof so when I am going to someplace that is full I can park on the roof and no one else will be parked there.

Bonus Activity - Blade Runner

In 2099 I think people will live in space ships in outer space.  Families will have a big space ship, other people will have smaller space ships and there will be big domes where you can fly your shuttle into and buy food and other things.  

The food will be the same, everything will have a longer expiry date and be made and grown in special space factories.

You will work on a planet so you can explore it and discover new things about it.  You may choose to work in a special space factory and make food for people to eat.

We are going to wear special space armour that lets you breathe in space without a oxygen tank.  You will wear clothes similar to what we wear now when you are on your own space ship.


There will be a special school spaceship for children to go to school on.  Another one for high school and another one for University.

                                      Activity 1

I like the trailer because it is very good and cool.  It starts with Moana describing Maui and asking him to save the world. She has to convince him as he tries to talk her out of it.  "Have you ever defeated a lava monster?" It then shows  Maui and talks about it being "Maui Time!" Moana says that the "Sea chose me!" It then show a tribe sailing the seas travelling to different islands.  Moana discovers hidden boats on her own island. It show us Maui shape shifting into a bird. Maui tries to take the boat and throws Moana off the side.  The sea however keeps putting her back on the boat.  It then goes back to show Moana as a child walking out into the middle of the sea as the water moves away from her.  It returns her to the shore as her dad calls her.  

I have seen the movie, the main characters are Moana, Maui and Hei Hei. The movie is about Maui a demi god saving the world with the help of a island girl Moana.  Moana gets the courage to leave her island and seek out Maui.  They travel together to defeat the lava monster, fighting off monsters that want the heart, on the way and restore the heart of Te feiti.  Once they have done this they both go there own ways,  Maui goes off and Moana travels back to her island and convinces them to once again travel the seas to new islands.  My favourite character in this movie is HeiHei the chicken because he is always being saved from dangerous things by the sea. 

Activity 2 - Country Calender

The interesting things about being a farmer are driving machinery like tractors, baling hay, milking cows, watching things grow and lots more. You need to be able to solve problems. Working outside in all weather. 

I would not like to be a farmer. It is hard because the weather decides if it is going to be drought or flood. I also think deciding what kind of farmer would be hard you could be sheep farmer, beef farmer, orchard farmer, pig farmer or a dairy farmer.

I would choose my friend David because he is really fun he is Egyptian which I think would be good to have in a team. Also I would choose my mum because she is very kind and good at solving problems she is also very good at talking to people.

I put this yellow seat because it is a teacher space.
I put this blue seat in for the kids to work at. the light blue spaces are cafeteria style seating (this is my favourite space to work in).  There is a kitchen area for art work and cooking.  The red space I put for the mat seating area for anyone.

Activity 1

Chasing Great

3 things I learnt about Richie McCaw are:

1. He wasn't the greatest player growing up but he had a big desire.

2. He was an ordinary man doing extraordinary things.

3. He wrote G.A.B on a napkin when he was younger for his plan, which stands for Great All Black.

Something else I would want to ask him is 

How did he keep up his drive to achieve his goal? 

What kept him motivated? 

What would you have done if you were never an All Black?

Sporting Heroes

Richie Mo'unga

He plays first five-eighth or fullback for Canterbury and the Crusaders.

He is my hero because I think he is really good at playing rugby. He always tries his best.

Inspired by DJ Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaataa created a street organisation called Universal Zulu Nation, centred around hip hop, as a means to draw teenagers out of gang life, drugs and violence.

Activity 1

Celebrating a win

For special events in our house we do different things. Sometimes we have a BBQ with everyone, we might have a birthday party if it is one of the kids birthdays or we might go out to dinner at a restaurant. I like that we do different things, it just depends on whose birthday it is.

Activity 2

Lord of the Rings

How would I spend my $300 million?

1. I would fix my mums house because it is only half finished with repairs.

2. I would give $1 million to charity.

3. Get professional dog trainers to train my dogs and teach me how to train them.

4. Buy cars for my sisters.

5. Buy myself a Playstation pro.

6. Take my family on a massive holiday.

7. Buy all the new video games.

8. Give my mum money so she doesn't have to work lots.

9. Get myself a whole new wardrobe of clothes and shoes.

Bonus Activity

I think that post secondary education should be free. I think this because more people might go to university or a course after high school if it doesn't cost them any money. It would give people the chance to study the things that they love to do. If you wanted to be a doctor or a scientist it would save more lives or invent more things because more people would study. It would make sure that people don't have to borrow lots of money to pay back.

Activity 1

“Out of the gate and off for a walk went Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy…”

and man around town who is all coloured brown,

and a cute little deer who lets out a cheer,

and max the cat who wears a hat,

and ghastly gus who is the size of a bus,

and the staunch staffy who was covered in taffy,

and the sweet labrador who likes to eat doors,

and morton mork who loves to eat pork,

down the to mark so they can go to the park,

they had to play in the rain which was really a pain,

then Hairy Maclary went back to Donaldson's Dairy.

Activity 2

I would like to go to japan Because...

1. I would like to go and see the tatami mats at the Kodokan judo institute because I think it would be very big.  I also do jui jitsu and it would be good to see where some of the masters have trained. And maybe get to train there myself.

2. I would like to go and see Yakushi-ji. It is a temple and it would be amazing to see the different styles of worship.

3. I would want to go and see Himeji it has a castle, a museum, aquarium and a park.  It appears to offer lots of different things to do.

Bonus Activity

If I was Scotty Morrison I would interview one direction and ask how do they write good songs. I would also ask them about how it is to work in a group of five people who didn't know each other before they were put together. Who choses who sings which parts and if this is easy to agree upon.

Dear Principal

I think that school should only be open 4 days a week, the children will be better behaved, have more things to write about and learn better.

It will mean that children will not be naughty at school because they will have a longer weekend to get out all of their extra energy.

Only having school 4 days a week will help children learn better. They will be able to concentrate more since it will be for a shorter amount of time.

Having a longer weekend will give them more things to write about in stories as they will have more time to experience other activities.

In conclusion I think that you should consider only having school 4 days a week.

My favourite TV show is currently The Big Bang Theory, it is on channel 2. The main characters are Leonard, Sheldon, Howard, Raj, Penny, Amy and Bernadette.

most of them are scientists and they are really funny.

Raj is a Astrophysicist, Leonard is a Experimental Physicist, Sheldon is a Theoretical Physicist, Penny is a Pharmaceutical Rep, Amy is a Neurobiologist,  Bernadette is a Microbiologist. Howard is a Aerospace Engineer.
